Procurement Card Eligibility and Obtaining a PCard

Any Georgia Tech employee who has the approval of their department head is eligible
for a Procurement Card.

The Procurement Card is an alternative method of purchasing and paying for business-related
goods under the delegated authority limit. The Procurement Card is a more efficient alternative
to DPOs and petty cash.

Steps to Obtaining a PCard

  1. Get Preliminary approval from a Department Head and notify the Department
    PCard Coordinator.
  2. Complete a P Card Request Form
  3. Complete the "Pcard Cardholders Training & Certification" online training tutorial.
  4. Cards will be distributed to employees after participation in training and signing
    of the Employee Agreement Form.
